The American Society of Safety Engineers – Middle East Chapter (ASSE-MEC) organizes its most comprehensive forum “The ASSE-MEC Professional Development Conference & Exhibition” on issues within the safety, health and environmental (SH&E) segment of the Gulf region´s industries including oil, gas and petrochemicals.

The ASSE-MEC platform had over 700 participants at the last conference in February 2008. It brings together a great number of companies, authorities, international organizations and stakeholders in the fields of SH&E, representing a diverse group of managers, engineers and scientists.

Bernd Freibott, Corporate Vice President for EHS Safety & Health at TechniData AG, will give a presentation on: “Overcoming SH&E Integration Challenges in Process Optimization and Factors to be Considered When Implementing a Successful SH&E Strategy” at the ASSE-MEC Conference.

A broad range of further topics will be addressed such as SH&E management, behavioral safety, transportation safety, incident investigation, emission/pollution control, occupational health, SH&E risk assessment, SH&E performance measurements and audits, quality of SH&E, as well as SH&E training schemes and education.
