The IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, UK) conference and exhibition, a major European health and safety event, celebrates its 10th anniversary. The annual conference offers health and safety professionals a forum for discussions, debates and collective learning. This year´s IOSH 10 will be held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow on March 24-25, 2010.

With more than 50 expert speakers, 30 conference sessions, and the opportunity to network with over 1,200 like-minded health and safety professionals, IOSH 10 is the health and safety conference that will equip you with knowledge to help you through these challenging times.

Leading professionals from Rio Tinto, Nestle UK, Telefonica O2 UK, and the Royal Bank of Scotland among others, will share examples of health and safety practices for you to take with you.

Bernd Freibott, TechniData’s Corporate Vice President for EHS Health & Safety, will give a presentation on the 24th of March 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in track C. He will talk about optimizing information flows and risk management for a safer working environment. The presentation will cover obstacles and solutions in the information gathering process; how to assess health & safety risks efficiently; and practical examples for minimizing risks in occupational health.
