SAP REACH Compliance has successfully completed its mandatory ramp-up phase. On August 19, SAP confirmed that the software application had met the stringent guidelines for a product launch.

Six large and medium-sized companies based in Europe and the U.S. took part in productivity tests that were carried out over a five-month period. Participating businesses included chemicals firms, consumer goods manufacturers and the iron and steel industry.

The solution has already been ordered by high-profile customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, biotechnology and high-tech sectors. This widespread interest shows that SAP REACH Compliance is in demand in all sectors.

Workshops with partners
Because the REACH timeframe demands the rapid implementation of SAP REACH Compliance, TechniData held workshops with 17 SAP partner companies. Participants included Accenture, Atos Origin, IDS Scheer, iTelligence, LinxAS, SAP Consulting, SI Pro, Satyam and Trasys.
