TechniData receives SAP® Pinnacle Award
TechniData has won a 2009 SAP® Pinnacle Award. The Global leader for integrated occupational health and safety, product safety and environmental protection solutions has been awarded in the area “Global Software Solution Partner of the Year.” SAP® Pinnacle Awards were granted to leading SAP partners that have excelled in enhancing the customer experience, addressing critical issues such as accelerating co-innovation and improving return on investment. Winners were selected based on over 300 nominations, twice the amount in 2008, received from partners and SAP employees. Juergen Schwab, CEO of TechniData AG, and Peter Hug, Executive Vice President Market Develop-ment, Sales and Marketing received the award at a special awards ceremony held on the eve of SAPPHIRE® 2009, SAP’s international customer conference being held in Orlando, Fla. May 11 – 14.

TechniData achieves jump in profits
The TechniData Group has written another chapter in its long-standing success story with a jump in profits. In 2008, the specialist for integrated management environmental protection, consumer protection and industrial safety increased its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) by 27 percent compared to the previous year. In 2007, growth had been at plus 2 percent. Expressed in absolute figures, the EBIT result for 2008 increased by EUR 1.2 million to EUR 5.5 million. During the same period, revenue increased by EUR 7.2 million to EUR 64.9 million, a gain of 12 percent over 2007. In addition, the return on equity after taxes rose to 31.5 percent. The compara-ble figure in 2007 was 21.2 percent.

TechniData supplies state-of-the-art ERMS to Olkiluoto NPP, Finland / Environmental radiation monitoring system (ERMS)
TechniData AG has supplied the Olkiluoto NPP (nuclear power plant) in Finland with a new ERMS. The network represents the state-of-the-art of technology, enabling also new forms of cooperation between the plant operator TVO and the Finnish regulatory authority STUK.
