Sto AG products are something no construction site should be without. The characteristic, black wordmark on a yellow background can be seen everywhere, whether on buckets with plaster or paint, packages with insulating board, paints for interior walls, coatings, glazes or tools. To ensure this wide range of high-quality products find their way to buyers around the world, each year Sto transports over 12,000 tons of dangerous goods by road, water, and air. In line with regulatory requirements for environmental management, Sto attaches great importance to correctly declaring every shipment of dangerous goods and including its own safety data sheets with every shipment. To structure this process as safely and efficiently as possible, the company uses TechniData CSM.

Company

Building construction is the common foundation spanning the four mainstays of the Sto Group´s business operations. The business area of Facades provides the central pillar. The product range here includes the systems for coverings, coatings, renovation and thermal insulation. The Interiors business area is acquiring growing importance with its systems for coverings, coatings, thermal insulation and acoustics. Concrete Restoration and Flooring Materials are business areas three and four within the Sto Group. The stated business areas focus on systems and product technology, while other business areas concentrate on
advisory, application-oriented and other services. These services assist Sto customers in planning colour schemes and materials in the design process or in the application of Sto products, for which a comprehensive range of silo equipment, machinery and application tools is available.
